Sarah Palin is resigning as Governor of Alaska. 

Her speech sounded as she is launching a national campaign...but for what?  Noone knows but her apparently.  Maybe she has her eyes on a Senate seat?  Maybe she's going to run her PAC full time?  Maybe she's going to start a grassroots campaign for President now? 

Her speech also sounded like she's had enough of the public life and is wanting to step out of the spotlight of the national media.  If this is the case, she probably just added fuel to the fire because how often do we have a governor resign in the country (that's not tied to scandal that is).  Definitely an odd political move. 

But we still can't get Governor Sanford to resign.  The political world is one messed up place.
