Sometimes The Best Sights Are Those Unseen

Benedict Specter is at it again.  First, it was nice to see voters holding his feet and HHS Sec. Kathryn Sebelius to the fire.  It's nice to see people letting their elected officials know they are upset.  Remember, your silence is their consent.   What amazes me is that when conservatives protest, we are labeled as domestic terrorists or worse.  When those on the other side do it, they are "concerned citizens".  The reasoning behind that mentality is because we conservatives have sat back and done nothing, but thankfully we have reached a breaking point where we are finally standing up and fighting for our country, our rights, and our incomes.

UPDATE: I wrote this article this morning and now Sen. Durbin seems to have proven what I said above.

Now Specter wants to put cameras in the Supreme Court chamber.  I've got some real problems with this.

The media ruins everything.  Soon as there are cameras in a courtroom, the wheels of justice grind to a halt.  Or do we not remember the first OJ trial?  The American people will look at the court and say that they are all a bunch of crusty old people.  Why aren't there younger people on there?  The calls for a court that "represents" America - the same argument used in favor of Sotomayor - will become the norm.  Can you imagine the second a SC Justice looks like they're not paying attention?  People will call for their resignation.  Then there's also the crowd of people that believe that the Supreme Court should be elected to their seat.

This would be a slippery slope that there would be no recovery from.

Funny how Sen. Specter wants cameras in the Supreme Court, but he has yet to sign on to S. 604 a.k.a. Federal Reserve Transparency Act.  He wants the public eye somewhere it doesn't belong, but yet that same public eye is not allowed to audit the Federal Reserve or the Treasury.

Call Sens. Dick Durbin and Roland Burris' offices and tell them to support the Federal Reserve Sunshine Act S. 604!!
