After William Bence's show, a gentleman was there and handed me a piece of paper.  It was a "people's" subpoena to bring Sen. Dick Durbin to a town hall meeting in downstate Illinois so he can answer for his positions on health care, the 2nd amendment and other issues he seems to hold his nose up at.  

This is a great idea.  Sen. Durbin has ducked and dodged his way around town hall meetings during the Congressional recess.  This is one politician that cares more about his ideology of the left, social engineering, hobnobbing with his Chicago deep pocket backers and ignoring all of Illinois south of I-80.  As Majority Whip, it will be Durbin's job to "whip" the Democrat Senators into line to vote for this health care reform travesty.  It will also be his job to count the votes to see where the bill stands.  If his count comes up short of 60, Durbin will most likely go with  Sen. Harry Reid in passing the bill using the "nuclear option" of reconciliation which only requires a simple majority vote of 51 Senators to pass a bill.

2 more years and we get another chance at bouncing Dick Durbin out of the Senate.  I can't wait!
