Directions to Central Illinois 9-12 Tea Party Effingham, IL
From the south:
- Take US 45 into Effingham until you go over the overpass, turn right onto Fayette Ave. Turn left at 1st light or 2nd light. Courthouse will be one block north of Fayette Ave.
- Take 33 into Effingham, turn left onto Fayette Ave. Turn right at 1st light or 2nd light. Courthouse is one block north of Fayette Ave.
- Take I-57 to Exit 159. Follow ramp left and follow road through town. After underpass, turn left at 1st or 2nd light.
From the north:
- Take I-57 South to exit 162. Turn left and follow US 45 through town. Courthouse will be on your right.
- Take US 45 South through Effingham. Courthouse will be on your right.
-Take IL 32 until it merges with IL-33. Turn left and follow until you reach Fayette Ave. (Walgreens on right hand side). Turn left and follow Fayette Ave until you go under the underpass. Turn left at 1st or 2nd light AFTER under pass. Courthouse is one block north of Fayette Ave.
From the east:
-Take US 40 into Effingham (turns into Fayette Ave.). Turn right onto 3rd Street/US 45 north. Courthouse is one block north of Fayette Ave.
-Take I-70 until it merges with I-57 and take exit 162. Turn left and follow US 45 south until you reach downtown. Courthouse will be on your right.
From the west:
-Take US 40 into Effingham until Fayette Ave (Walgeens will be on corner). Turn right and follow Fayette and turn at 1st or 2nd light AFTER underpass.
-Take I-70 until it merges with I-57, take exit 159, stay right and you'll be on Fayette Ave. Follow through town and turn at 1st or 2nd light AFTER underpass.
-Take IL-33 through Effingham until Fayette Ave (Walgreens on corner). Turn left and follow Fayette Ave through town and turn at 1st or 2nd light AFTER underpass.

I just got back from the Tea Party. It was great. I was really glad to see such a nice crowd on hand. Do you have an estimate as to crowd size?
