Thanks Blago!

One of the worst legacies of the Gov. Blago is not the massive budget deficit or the highlight of corruption in Illinois politics but Senator Roland Burris.

Can we really say that Sen. Burris represents Illinois?  First, he was appointed to his position so the people of Illinois never really had a chance to decide who we wanted to represent us.  Second, he voted with our other Senator, Dick Durbin, and 5 other Democrats to allow ACORN to keep their funding.  Thank God 83 other Senators decided to defund ACORN and made Durbin and Burris look like the out of touch leftist ideological hacks they are.

Then there this from today.  Sen. Burris is 99.9% committed to a health plan with a public option.  Anything without a public option, he will not support.  His reasoning?  He says his constituents across Illinois say they want a public option.  SAY WHAT?  When we the last time he was in downstate Illinois?  He's from Centralia originally, but I don't remember hearing him being in the area during the Senate recess, and I know that he and Durbin decided not to have any public town hall meetings during the recess either.  His other source of sure fire information?  Moveon.org.  ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!?!?!?

Did he not pay attention to what took place in Illinois and all around the nation at town hall meetings?  Did he not pay attention to the national polls regarding the health care bills?  My God, November 2010 cannot come fast enough!

Sen. Burris should be held up as a shining example of the total lack of regard for ACTUAL constituent feelings, listening to the wacko fringe elements of the Democratic party who both run and support Moveon.org, and having his head so far up Sen. Durbin's Alpha Sigma Sigma that he hasn't seen the sun in months.

Thanks Blago.  You're the bestest.
