Pot, Meet Kettle
The NRCC is pushing a petition to "Fire Pelosi" because she worships at the altar of the left-wing of the Democrat Party. No problems with that whatsoever. BUT....
Rep. Pete Sessions, Chairman of the National Republican Congressional Committee, is also running ads against Doug Hoffman, Conservative Party candidate in the NY-23 special election. Understandable considering he's not on the Republican ticket, but what I don't understand is how they can support Dede Scozzafava - who holds many more issues in common with Pelosi than any other Republican. In addition, Sessions is one of the most conservative members of Congress. So a hard core conservative is trying to get rid of a hard core liberal but is also supporting a hard core liberal for Congress? The funny part is Hoffman has even stated that he'd caucus with the Republicans once elected.
This is why the establishment politicians are so out of touch with their base and with America. They continue to support the most "electable" (in their eyes) instead of candidates that will do the right thing (all pun intended). They support candidates like Scozzafava, Crist and Mark Kirk. McCain likes Kirk. That should be a red light on its own! We know that conservative policies create wealth from the top to the bottom, spurns economic growth, and results in a strong foreign policy. We also know that liberal policies create the stagflation of the 70s, the Depression of the 30s, and the gluttony of public debt and weak dollar we have now.
