Illinois is broke and as a result Gov. Quinn wants to release 1000 prisoners to save money.  As a result, there will be 1000 possibly dangerous people added into the population of Illinois.  If recividism rates hold true, then we can expect about 750 of those 1000 to return to prison at some point in the near future.  Thanks Gov. Quinn.

Now, President Obama and Gov. Quinn, and I'm sure Sens. Durbin and Burris want to bring Gitmo detainees to our empty prison in Tompson.  So we release 1000 dangerous people into society, and we are importing another 250 of the most dangerous people.

President Obama wanted Gitmo closed and signed an executive order doing just that.  However, that pesky law of unintended consequences asks where the prisoners at Gitmo will go after they close it.

Now they want to bring them to Illinois!  Call Sens. Durbin and Burris and Congressman Shimkus to let them know they need to do something about this outrage!

Keep Gitmo out of the United States and out of Illinois!!!
