One week ago, the US House of Representatives passed their version of Health Care Reform.  One week after that vote, a government task force says that women should get mammograms at 50 instead of 40.  I seriously don't think there is any coincidence between the two. 

This is the first step in rationing health care.  Breast cancer is one of the most easily found and treatable cancers.  Like every cancer, the earlier you catch it, the better.  This same task force also recommended women forget about self-examinations.  Unbelievable.  How soon until the liberal American Medical Association comes out to back up this government task force?  If the Health Care Reform gets out of the Senate, women should take notice because the government tends to listen to itself so therefore, you'll be hard pressed to get mammograms before age 50 and have the public option pay for it.

What's next, men aren't supposed to get prostate exams until age 50 or 55?
