Kirk Wavering?
So Mark Kirk is dead set against housing terrorists at Thomson prison. Or is he. Take a look at both of these articles and you decide. I personally think this wishywashy stances is what Kirk is all about. He's trying hard to bolster his conservative credentials (good luck on that one) while at the same time appealing to his liberal backers. What is a candidate to do?!?! Kirk is in serious trouble this upcoming primary election. He can't win in straw polls in his own backyard and most people I have run into downstate can't stand the sight of him let alone stomach casting a vote for him.

Look at the bright side. Since there is no airport within spitting or Koran tossing vicinity of the prison, this is just begging for a shovel ready, job creating, plan to build a 10,000 foot runway right next door, followed by a land purchase to acquire and clear a 1 mile wide killing zone perimeter around the prison, and then a sole source contract to retrofit a couple C 130s for Con Air duty topped off by a secure hanger with a sally port and tunnel right into cell block 5. Great for the economy!
