48 states have concealed carry provisions and Wisconsin recognizes the right to openly carry firearms for personal and family protection.  That means 49 states have some form of right to carry law in force.

Illinois is the last and only state to prohibit carrying a firearm for personal protection and would be a felony to do so.

If you find Illinois laws regarding self defense alarming, you can do something about it.

Come hear the speakers at this town hall meeting made up of IL state Rifle Assoc., Sheriffs of 5 counties, Effingham, Clay, Wayne, Richland, Jefferson, members of Cisne High School FFA debate team, and Valinda Rowe of Illinois of carry.com
