Walton & Haarmann Vet Clinic Saves Our Bumblebee

Thank you Walton and Haarmann Vet Clinic!!!

This is one of our dogs, Bumblebee.  He's a lovable dog who just is the sweetest thing in the world.  Unfortunately, Bumblebee got sick just before we left for vacation.  Last Friday, he stopped eating, drinking, and to put it mildly, was doing other things that sick dogs do (just like humans).

So we took him to Walton & Haarmann Vet Clinic where we have always taken our pets when they need their check-ups.  Then we waited.  Each day we wondered if we would get that early morning phone call telling us that our Bee had passed away.  I called almost everyday while we were on vacation and were told that he was the same.  He wasn't getting worse, and he wasn't getting better.  We came home from vacation early this morning, so I headed up to the vet when we woke up.  The doctor informed me that Bee is still not eating and wasn't very responsive as they liked.  I asked to see Bee and with my other dog, Cassidy, we headed to the back room thinking that it might be last time we really get to see him.  What happened next just proves the bond between dog and their families.

Bee started going bonkers!  He was so happy to see Cassidy and me.  Bee just kept wanting me to pet him, kept greeting Cassidy, and was acting like my good ole Bee.  I asked if I might try feeding him to see if he would eat.  The nurse brought in a bowl with a little food in it and Bee had it gone in a matter of a second.  I told the doctor that he just ate and he was acting like our Bumblebee always does, she was happy and sent him home with me.  He greeted Stef when we got home and seemed attached to our side the rest of the day.  It seems Bee was better, he was just depressed that we weren't around, but we wouldn't have been that way if it wasn't for the work of the doctors and staff at Walton & Haarmann Vet Clinic.  Thank you again!!
